Strangemaps recently published, and challenged the authenticity, of what was originally reported as a re-drawn map of Hitler’s South America. The map, which was supposedly found in a Buenos Aires taxi, was originally presented to the public by then US president Franklin D. Roosevelt during his 1941 Navy Day address to the nation.
The map shows what Hitler supposedly had planned for the political boundaries of the countries and the continent. Strangemaps claims that this map never came from Germany, but in fact was most likely created by the British government in order to generate support for the impending war.
