The “Por la Calle” textile design tour will be in Buenos Aires on Saturday, April 5, 2008. It is being billed as an “urban self-guided design tour”, and is open to the public. The tour’s purpose is to expose people to Argentine designers, their influences, and their fabrics. The tour will begin at 2pm, and will feature over 40 designers spread over 30 shops between Julian Alvarez, Arevalo, Niceto Vega, and Nicaragua streets in Palermo. The tour is being sponsored by The ProTejer Foundation and INTI textiles.
