Opposing Child Vaccinations Gaining Popularity in Rosario

According to the blog D for Distortion, parents in Rosario who oppose or withhold vaccinations from their children are gaining support for their cause. The concept, for most, is to allow nature to take its course in a child’s immune system. Some people believe that any disease, illness, or ailment, can be cured by the body without medicine. The practice is somewhat controversial, however, with others claiming it can be potentially damaging to children.

This practice has been popular in Europe for years but is relatively new to South America. While it is usually linked to religious beliefs, the Rosario trend is explicitly secular. Doctors recommend that children are vaccinated for all major diseases before reaching puberty.
