That is, if you’re from Ireland. The Irish and Argentine governments signed an agreement yesterday that would allow up to 100 Irish citizens to work in Argentina for up to 9 months. In exchange, the same number of Argentines will be allowed to work in Ireland, visa free, for up to a year. The “Holiday Working Agreement,” as it’s called, will expedite the usually tedious process of applying for and processing the application for a legal work visa. The new agreement will not only expedite this process, but also bolsters diplomatic ties between the two nations while providing an open cultural exchange.

Currently, Ireland is experiencing an economic boom that is tops in Europe. Argentina, though not quite booming, is rapidly coming back from the 2001-2002 economic collapse that devastated the South American nation.

Great idea but shame it’s only 100 visa’s – surely they could’ve stretched a little further?
