However, most of the illegal labor problem stems from Argentine citizens, who are often compensated as if they had immigrated illegally. On the other hand, many travelers looking to extend their stay through working here will find it easier than expected. But don’t expect an American salary. Your typical Argentine earns anywhere between $800 and $2,000 pesos monthly, which is equivalent to about $260-$650 USD.
