Joey Belladona of Anthrax fame has just confirmed his 2008 tour dates for Argentina. The former lead singer of the late ’80s metal band will be on a world tour starting this month, with stops in Mexico, Brazil, and Chile, before heading to El Teatrito in Buenos Aires on June 13, and El Sotano in Rosario on June 15. Argentina, and specifically Buenos Aires, is considered the rock and roll hub of South America, with big-name performers like Bob Dylan, Korn, Ozzy Osbourne, Seal, The Police, Megadeth, and Brian Adams all playing shows in the city in the last 6 months. Tickets haven’t gone on sale yet, but should be available through Ticketmaster soon.
