Apr 17, 2008 Click to Comment → PrintInterBaires, the Argentine Airport development and construction firm, has announced that is has begun expanding Terminal B at Ezeiza International Airport. The expansion will focus on enlarging the airport’s smaller terminal, in hopes to accommodate more visitors, who either fly through, or stay in Buenos Aires. The airport has already partially expanded its larger terminal, and predicts that the smaller terminal expansion will grow the airport’s business by 25% over the next fiscal year. These expansions are necessary in order to handle the influx of tourists flying into the hub in South America. Ezeiza is the country’s largest airport, and serves as both an international and domestic hub. InterBaires predicts that the project will be completed and open by July 1, 2008.
