Argentina Wine Tasting Club is a new group dedicated to showcasing, sampling, and discussing Argentina’s finest wines. Their first event will be held at 0800-Vino on Friday, April 25, and will run from 7:30-9:30pm. Admission to the event is $20 pesos, and you must RSVP ahead of time to get a reservation. Wine is big business these days in Argentina, with wine tours, wine bars, and even wine delivery services springing up everywhere. Many Argentines now believe that their grapes are on par, if not better, than many European and Australian wines. 0800-Vino is located on Anchorena 695 and Tucuman, near the city’s center.
