For the first time in the history of the 39-year-old holiday, Argentina will officially celebrate Earth Day. On Saturday, April 26, the city of Buenos Aires will hold an official celebration of the holiday in Plaza Naciones Unidas, and will feature speeches, music, and video presentations. Musical acts will include Puerto Infinito, Kevin Johansen, Leo GarcÃa, Bicicletas, Michael Mike, Rosal, Hamas al RÃo and Espósito – Delgado dúo, La Bomberia, 2Ambientes, DJ Maniana. The theme for this year’s event is “Call for Climate”, and officials from the Earth Day Nework expect this year’s celebrations to be the largest in the history of the event. This is a free event located at Ave. Figueroa Alcorta and Austria.
