While traveling through South America into Argentina, travel blogger Lizzatwell writes about how surprisingly good the shopping is in Salta. Although she was a little perplexed at how hard it is to get cash from ATMs or to change money, she likens Salta shopping to that of Europe. The major difference is that the exchange rate allows your money to stretch much further than it would in a European or American city. Salta, though it’s a well known city, is not typically known for its shopping. Buenos Aires, on the other hand, has built one of the strongest Latin American clothing and design industries, and is a destination for those looking to buy clothing, especially leather goods.
