‘Drinking Liberally’ Brings Politics, Passion, and Fun to Argentine Expats
Apr 28, 2008 Click to Comment → PrintThere’s a new expat social group making waves on the social scene in Buenos Aires. The group, appropriately called “Drinking Liberally”, has become a popular forum for expats looking to network with each other to discuss politics, life in BA, and throw back a pint or two. Blogger Yanqui Mike says that politics are only one part of the equation with the “Drinking Liberally” crew. Though the group is decidedly left-leaning, Mike says that political orientation is less a factor than being willing to socialize and unwind. The group meets every Thursday at 7pm at Sir Will, 678 San Martin, in the Retiro section of Buenos Aires. Bring your opinions, your thirst for a good drink, and an open attitude. It’s a can’t-miss for any expat or traveler visiting the city.
