This week on NBC’s Today Show, co-host and correspondent Matt Lauer opened his yearly video travel journey in Buenos Aires. Lauer does a segment for the show called “Where in the World in Matt Lauer,” in which he travels with a film crew to various parts of the world to report on what’s happening with the locals, what’s interesting for tourists, and what to expect in general from the culture. As expected, Lauer’s segment focuses on Tango, steak, and remote rural escapes like Patagonia. It’s no secret that Argentina is quickly becoming one of the world’s most popular travel destinations, and NBC is just the latest to ride the current wave of popularity.
