Author Tom Wolfe, widely considered the father of “new journalism” has arrived in Buenos Aires to host a conference at the Buenos Aires International Book Fair, currently ongoing at the Rural Exhibition Center in Palermo. The conference, titled The Chronicles of the United States, a Changing Society, will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 6pm. Wolfe will be the headline lecturer for the book fair, which is bringing thousands of writers, publishers, and avid readers from all over the world to the Argentine capital. The festival ends in a week, so check it out soon before it’s too late. Tickets are available at the gates, and prices vary depending on time and event.
