Forbes Mag Lists Argentina as Affordable Luxury Vacation Spot

Forbes Magazine recently published an article about the best places to go while the US dollar, and economy, are slumping. The article sites Buenos Aires as one of the best tourist destinations for luxury travel on a budget, claiming that the weakened dollar will not affect pricing or luxury amenities. According to the magazine, the priciest part about visiting Buenos Aires is the airfare, which is around $1,000 round-trip from New York City. Once here, however, the magazine claims that you will spend about a third of the price on a hotel as you would in a big city in the US, and day-to-day travel expenses will be much lower. Though the article doesn’t mention it, travel outside of the capital is even cheaper. Trips to places like Mendoza, the wine capital of the country, are very cheap, and very popular with tourists looking for an affordable luxury adventure.

Luxury in Argentina is definitely affordalble … for just US$40 you can have your own personal driver pick you up from the airport in a Lincoln Town Car a drop you to your door. You can even have a driver for the day to drive you wherever you please for just US$25 an hour….
