Controversy is already spreading about the “friendlies” match-ups between the Argentine, United States, and Mexican soccer teams, scheduled to take place in the United States in June. Yesterday, Argentina announced its roster for the games, choosing not to allow forward Carlos Tevez to play. Tevez, who plays for Manchester United in England and played for Argentina in the 2004 Olympics, has also been suspended from the World Cup qualifying match against Ecuador, to be held in Argentina. His absence is due to the face that in the World Cup qualifying match against Colombia, he kicked another player away from the play and was removed from the game. As of now, Tevez’s future in Argentine soccer is uncertain.
