The Ministry of Culture announced that, from Monday the 26th to June 2nd, people can enroll in the over 400 new classes being offered across the city in various cultural centers. Cultural centers are public spaces in every neighborhood that have performances, art galleries or other exhibits, and free or cheap classes for residents. The new classes augment the already large selection of classes, in which 20,600 people participate. They are adding classes for tango, theater, chorus, dance, plastic arts, artesanías, and dance for children as well as introducing two new subjects: photography and journalism. The Ministry claims that their decision to open more classes is in response to the large demand of neighborhoods for such popular courses.
