In celebration of George Nelson’s 100th birthday, the Centro Cultural Borges is having an exhibit of some of his most important works from May 29th through June 8th. George Nelson was one of the founders of American Modernism and gave us household features we now think of as essential: the “family room†and wall storage space. He is also known for his innovative furniture designs. According to My Buenos Aires Travel Guide, the pieces on display at the Centro Cultural Borges are original George Nelson pieces, provided by private collectors or manufactured by Colección Sacif, who is the exclusive license holder in Argentina.
