Malcolm McLaren, manager of the band the Sex Pistols, is presenting photographs and videos about his life and work this weekend at ArteBA in La Rural. Born in 1946 in London, McLaren began as the owner of a clothing store called Let it Rock. Then, on a trip to New York, he saw the band the New York Dolls and convinced them to let him manage them. In 1975, he began to manage a band that would later become the Sex Pistols. According to Rolling Stone Argentina, McLaren has been incredibly influential in the development of punk music and is a legend of 20th century culture. His presentation will be an interesting view from the inside on the making of that legend, and is sure to one of the best attended events this weekend at the ArteBA fair.
