MySpace Launches Argentine Version of Site, Opens Office in Palermo
Jun 10, 2008 Click to Comment → PrintThe seventh most visited Internet page in the world, MySpace, has just launched an Argentine version of its website, the site’s first in a Spanish speaking South America. Hoping to achieve the level of success in Argentina that it achieved in Mexico and Brazil, the owners of MySpace saw now as the time to make their move. In the last year Argentine use of the website increased 177% and the MySpace spokesperson said that the company “believes in the power of the Argentine market.†In addition to launching the site, MySpace also opened offices in Palermo that will be the sites Latin American business headquarters.
