Representatives of Hyatt Hotels as well as representatives of El Rosario S.A. met with Marcelo Cascón to announce their intention of investing in a hotel in Bariloche. According to ANBariloche.com, the Hyatt in Bariloche will be the third in the country—after Mendoza and Buenos Aires—and will be an addition to the increasing culture of luxury tourism in the area. Cascón said that the addition of the hotel confirms that Bariloche is becoming an international tourism destination, for skiing in the winter and activities such as hiking, camping, and water sports. And, of course, when done skiing or hiking, there is Bariloche’s famous chocolate.
