Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 (AA2000) has begun work on “New Ezeiza,” an ambitious project in which over 400 million dollars are currently invested. The project is the construction of a new terminal for the international airport that will be operable in 2010, the country’s bicentennial. President of AA2000, Ernesto Gutiérrez, hopes that the airport will be a symbol of everything the bicentennial stands for: growth, modernity, and security. Gutiérrez also expressed pride in the Argentines who, looking towards the future of the nation, are making is project happen. As Delta looks to add more flights and the country continues to be a tourist hot spot, we certainly hope that AA2000′s optimism and hard work will bring in a joyful and successful bicentennial.
