Defending Champion Cabrera Ready to Defend US Open Golf Title

Angel Cabrera, the Argentine golfer, won last year’s US Open by narrowly defeating golf legend Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk. Now, he is playing to defend his championship against many of the same golfing greats. Cabrera is known for his long drive, but it is his putting that needs to improve if he is going to hold on to the title. To help him, he has just had a putter flown from Arizona to San Diego, California, where the tournament is being held from June 12th to the 15th. Off the fairway, Cabrera is also a force for good in the Argentine community, where his charity, the Cabrera Foundation for Caddies and People in Need, organizes golfing events that bring amateurs and professionals together.
