At the Recoleta Cultural Center, a new exhibit entitled “Recoleta CompArte—Young Art without Selection.” This show will be open to anyone between the age of 18 and 35 who lives in Buenos Aires and wants to display their art work in this historic space. The exhibit is meant both as a way to encourage young artists who are looking for a break and as a way to bring “spontaneity” and “diversity” into the art world. Call for works begins on July 2^nd and space will be allotted on a first come, first serve basis. Works can be two or three dimensional and the subject matter is unrestricted. The exhibit itself opens to the public on July 11^th and is sure to be, if nothing else, a fascinating glimpse into the artistic life of the ordinary Argentine.
