An exhibit entitled “Julio Cortázar: The Infinite Journey” will be on display until December in Cervantes Institute of Tokyo, Japan. According to La Nación, the exhibit consists of photographs, texts, and audiovisual productions that allow the visitors to experience the world from Cortázar’s perspective. One of the great Argentine writers, Cortázar loved to travel and he kept a record of his travels and his thoughts through photography and writing. The Argentine minister to Japan is very pleased that the exhibition is showing in Tokyo. Argentine’s already know that Cortázar was a revolutionary writer, and this exhibit shows that he is one of the great writers of any nation, deserving attention from people from all places. Now making its way around the world, the exhibit in Tokyo is a smaller version of an exhibit that originated in Paris.
