Broken Social Scene, the Toronto-based band, will finish its tour of the States and South American in Buenos Aires on August 31^st in Buenos Aires. The tour, called “Something for All of Us,” begins in Chicago and includes three South American destinations: Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires. Broken Social Scene is more of a collective than a group; it started with two core members, Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning, and grew to include dozens of different artists. The group currently has 19 members and their music ranges from baroque pop to indie rock.  On this tour, Drew and Canning are touring with five other members of the collective. When in Buenos Aires, they will perform at the La Trastienda Club.
