One of the most well known and highly visited glaciers in the world, the Perito Moreno glacier, experienced a collapse on July 10th. Now, there are a variety of videos available on YouTube showing this incredible natural phenomenon. When part of the glacier fell off in March 14th, 2006, tourist and TV crews were ready to capture the event. This time, however, the glacier collapsed earlier than expected, and only a few people caught it on video. Naturally, these clips are now posted on YouTube and generating a lot of traffic. Surrounding the videos is the heated debate whether this rupture, which strangely took place in the winter, is the result of global warming. No one knows what the future of the glacier will be if such collapses become more frequent.
