The highly anticipated match has arrived: Argentina and Brazil will be playing each other in the semi-finals of the Olympic Games. To get to this point, Brazil beat Cameroon and Argentine beat the Netherlands this past weekend in what were two tough quarter-final matches. Lionel Messi gave a particularly excellent performance, showing yet again why both Barcelona and Argentina were so eager to have him playing with them these two weeks. Since Brazil and Argentina were two of the favorite teams to win the gold medal this year, this match is going to be exciting and tough. The game will be this coming Saturday, and no doubt the cafes of Argentina will be packed with soccer fans cheering on their team.
