A ballet company without its home theater, the Teatro Colon Ballet is still busy giving performances, including two this weekend at Teatro Coliseo. According to My Buenos Aires Travel Guide, the company will perform “Les Sylphides,” the pas-des-deux from “Don Quixote,” and Maurice Ravel’s “Bolero.” They will perform with the similarly homeless Teatro Colon Orchestra, conducted by Mario Benzecry. The dates are Saturday at 8:30pm and Friday at 5pm, with tickets ranging from 16 to 50 pesos. These performances will be followed soon after by their performance with the famous dancer Paloma Herrera, who was once a student with the Teatro Colon herself.
