The Argentine tennis player, Juan Martin Del Potro, will face American Andy Murray in the quarter-final match of the US Open later today. According to Telegraph, the two players have played once before, and their experience left an emotional rivalry between them that should be interesting to watch. In their previous match in May, Murray felt that Del Potro had drilled a ball at his head, and Del Potro did not apologize, instead choosing to insult Murray’s mother. Murray one the match, and good feelings have not been restored since then. Currently, Murray is the number one ranked British player and Del Potro is on a remarkable 23-match winning streak. In the course of this streak, this teen-age tennis sensation has won four titles. They play for the right to go to the semi-finals on “Super Saturday” in New York.
