Two bikers, Kevin Madzia and Ray Query,  have set out on a bicycle journey from their home, Cleveland, Ohio, to Ushuaia, Argentina. Their goal is to raise awareness about melanoma, the most serious form of skin cancer that can, when caught early, be treated. Madzia’s father passed away from the disease, motivating Madzia to make this trip. According to Cleveland.com, the riders left on August 24th and are currently biking south across the United States. Their journey will cover 15,000 miles by the time they make it to the end and they will cross through eleven Latin American countries. They don’t know when they will make it to Ushuaia—it will be several months—but when they do they will have accomplished an incredible feat of human endurance.
