After a long weekend of ups and downs, Argentina defeated Russia to move on to the finals of the Davis Cup, where they will face Spain. The hero of the semi-finals for Argentina was Juan Martin del Potro, who played and won tough matches. With the tournament tied at two matches a piece, Potro faced Russian player Igor Andreev and beat him in three sets, 6-4, 6-2 and 6-1. According to the ClarÃn, the home crowd went wild for Potro when he gave Argentina the win. The Davis Cup Finals will be played here in Argentina and, says the ClarÃn, what Spain should be the most worried about are the Argentine crows that, with the matches on their own turf, will be a force to be reckoned with.
