Today is the first day of the 14th annual Guitars of the World Festival, an event that brings together musicians from across the world to share their guitar techniques and regional music. According to My Buenos Aires Travel Guide, the festival has hosted over 700 artists from 36 different countries from America, Europe, Asia and Africa. This year, 250 artists will give 280 performances around Argentina in a total of 82 venues. In Buenos Aires, the shows will take place at 8 at the Centro Cultural Recoleta today, the National Library on October 5th, and the Espacio Tucuman on October 12th. Entrance to all events is free.
