The Argentine Association of Tennis selected the tennis courts in Cordoba’s Estadio Orfeo as their official choice for the Davis Cup Finals. Despite the International Tennis Federation’s warnings that the stadium may not be accepted because it lacks enough seats for spectators, the AAT held strong, arguing that the carpet surface would be the best for Argentina’s tennis plays against Nadal. According to the ClarÃn, should the ITF reject Cordoba, Argentina has given them the second option of the Islas Malvinas Stadium in Mar del Plata. Some prefer the option of Mar del Plata, because more people will be able to see the game. Now everyone will just have to wait for the decision of the ITF to see whether they will cheer Argentina on by the mountains or by the beach.
