This Saturday, the Spanish pop singer Concha Buika will perform in Buenos Aires at the ND/Ateneo at 9pm. Buika was born in Palma de Mallorca and performs a number of different music styles including jazz, bolero, flamenco, and punk. According to Rolling Stone Argentina, this performance will the Buika’s first in Buenos Aires, although she did give a small private performance at the Hotel Faena in Puerto Madero last Tuesday. She is promoting her new album “Niña de Fuego†Buika has also performed in Las Vegas at the The Luxor, Harrah’s and Gold Coast and she was a guest singer in the Blue Note festival also in Las Vegas; she is a well known artist on the world music circuit.
