Herman and Candelaria Zapp, an Argentine couple from outside of Buenos Aires, have been travelling for eight years now, from Argentina to Alaska, around the continents to better experience life. They left on January 25th, 2000 and finally made it to Alaska in 2003. According to Inside Bay Area, they are travelling in a 1928 Graham-Paige model 610 car, which, impressively, has carried them for nearly 50,000 miles. On this epic journey they have started a family—they now have three children—and have funded it all by selling paintings and writing books about their journey. Their latest book is a best seller on Amazon, called “Spark Your Dream” and was written when they were in Argentina again, before setting off on the road for another journey in April of 2007.
