If you have ever had any of the typical iPod problems: breaking, short battery life, ect., then the Argentine designer Julieta Gayoso’s new line of “intelligent” clothing may be for you! According to The Vancouver Sun, Gayoso has designed, among other things, a jacket that has a solar panel sewn into its back. That way, if your iPod, or any other electrical device, runs out of the battery power you can simply plug it in to the energy you are carrying on your back. Gayoso says it is easy, clean, renewable energy that simply makes sense in the modern, technological world. The idea for these kinds of clothes began in 2006 and at the beginning of this year she launched her first line of clothes. Now she has a website and is hoping to get a second line out and begin exporting by next year.
