This Sunday is the first day of the 115th Hurlingham Club Open Championship, the oldest polo tournament in the world. According to My Buenos Aires Travel Guide, the best teams and most highly ranked players from around the world will be coming to Buenos Aires to compete in the tournament. Games begin this Sunday at 2 and 4pm and continue on Tuesday, then the following weekend, and the championship game is on November 1st. The matches take place at the Hurlingham Club which is in the outskirts of Buenos Aires and was founded back in 1888. The tournament is the second of three championships that make up the “Triple Crown” of Argentine polo; the Argentine Open Championship will be the third and last.
