After a weekend of high temperatures and strong sunshine, snow, hail, and rain are hitting many parts of Argentina. Beginning in the very early morning on Tuesday, heavy rain began to fall in Buenos Aires and it didn’t let up for the remainder of the day. In the Province of Buenos Aires residents experienced hail in the cool morning. Further south in Bariloche, snow fell. According to La Nación, the National Meteorological Service released heavy storm warnings for Buenos Aires City, RÃo de la Plata, southeast, central and north Buenos Aires Province, southern Córdoba, southern Santa Fe, and northern La Pampa. The wide spread storms, while ending the springtime fun outside, do bring much needed rain to the entire nation and its crops and livestock.
