Google Maps Have Arrived

Until November, Argentina was nothing more than a gray blob at the tip of South America- according to Google Maps that is.  Clarin Maps was slow, comovieja.com was impossible to understand and so we waited with Guia-T in hand.  Google set up their Argentine office in Puerto Madero earlier this year, bringing promises of satellite photos, street names and all the ease of the Google interface. While the maps have arrived, we are still awaiting directions or “ruteos” and restaurant and business listings.   But considering the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, the more maps the merrier!
