It describes the mass immigration of talented expats moving to Buenos Aires, drawn by tango, architecture, design… and the exchange rate.  Parallels to Prague and Berlin are made, but the Paris of South America truly has no parallel.  The bohemian center began to thrive at the same time the economy sank, 2001, making Buenos Aires, in a way, differently prepared for the international credit crunch and crisis.  The balmy weather and sleepless nights are an additional bonus.
