Buenos Aires Short-Term Bill Plan

A short-term bill plan worth 800 million pesos ($229.4 million dollars) was announced by the Buenos Aires city government.  The first auction was for 90 million pesos in bills on February 12.  There were three categories: thee, six and nine-month notes, according to notices in local newspapers.  The city accepts payment via Argentina’s Open Electronic Market.
