Moscow Symphony Orchestra Gala

From April 25th to May 9th, the southern city of Ushuaia will host its fifth International Music Festival.  In conjunction with this event, they are holding a special gala in Buenos Aires at the Teatro Coliseo (Marcelo T. de Alcear 1125) on Thursday, April 23rd at 8:30pm.  The presentation will feature a performance by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Jorge Uliarte with Pablo Dzodan as a guest conductor.  Tickets will be on sale through Ticketek Argentina.  The program will be as follows:

Modest Mussorgsky (1839-1881): “One night on the bare mountain ”. Orch.: Nikolai Rimsky-Korssakoff
Sergei Rachmaninov (1873-1943): Concert for piano and orchestra, no. 3 in D-Minor, op. 30
– Allegro ma non tanto
– Intermezzo (Adagio)
– Finale (Alla breve)
P.I. Tschaikovsky (1840-1893): Symphony no. 5 in E-Minor, op. 64
– Andante – Allegro con anima
– Andante cantabile, con alcuna licenza – Moderato con anima
– Valse (Allegro moderato)
– Finale (Andante maestoso – Allegro vivace)
