Concert by Champs-Elysees

The NGO Mozarteum Argentino will inaugurate its 2009 season at Teatro Coliseo with a performance by the Orchestra de Champs-Elysees.  Belgian conductor Philippe Herreqeghe will lead the program consisting of two works by Hector Berlioz, the Symphonie Fantastique, and Leilio, ou Le Retour a la vie.  Besides the orchestra, there will be a special light and video installation, actors and dancers.  This will be the first performance in Argentina when instruments used during composer Berlioz’s lifetime will be used.
