I visited Tilcara last week (february 2010(, just two days, it was not a good moment, there was an unusual storm and rain. Anyway, Tilcara is wonderful, not as astonishing as Purmamarca, but very warm and friendly. I stayed with Family Sandoval, just around Tourism office. They offer good and cheap accomodation. Very kind people.
