There will be my girl friend and me. Feburary of 2010. Accomodations need not be high class. Two weeks would be as long as we could stay. I am 55 and she is 41. Like the lakes. Don't want to take a whirl wind tour of the country. Want two weeks of relaxed observation probably at the same lodge, house, or whatever while we are there. Love the water. From what I've heard from fellow travelers, the entire Chilean Lake District is incredible. I've been living in Santiago, Chile awhile and the first chance I get to leave town, that's where I'm heading. Peru and Argentina are far enough apart that I would fly instead of taking a bus. Unless you want to leave a week for travel and take a cross-Andean adventure!
