My daughters and I were at the Kosher McDonalds in Buenos Aires this past summer. I am not Jewish and I had not been in Argentina in over 25 years. I felt the Jewish community reached a milestone with this, and I was proud to bring the news back home to my Jewish friends. What I didn’t know was that it was the only Kosher McD outside of Israel. This really makes it a lot more important. We also took pictures but no one stopped us. I liked looking at your pictures, as they brought back memories.

People do say that McDonalds in Argentina is much better than in the US. Whether it’s true, is hard to say, although I know that the beef down here is almost exclusively grass-fed, which is a big plus.

love this article! the pictures are classic. i’ve been wondering, with the meat being free range and organic like the rest of the argentine carne experience, does the big mac taste much different? i bet there are some mickey d’s connoiseurs out there who’d know.
