The herds have apparently gone unfed for days, and the angry cows are now wreaking havoc on downtown Buenos Aires, bringing traffic and commerce to a halt. Reports have come in of the cows breaking into the city's supermarkets, restaurants, and terrifying the city's schoolchildren.

TheExpeditoner.com released its first set of online travel videos chronicling the travels of the site’s founder and editor, Matt Stabile, in South America. The videos, exclusively available online, are a three-part series featuring Matt as he travels throughout Argentina and Chile, including Buenos Aires, San Antonio de Areco, the Andes Mountains, Santiago, and the Maipo Valley.

As is evident from his travels, a whole generation of young travelers — those who make up the majority of TheExpeditioner.com’s readers — are discovering South America and are traveling there in droves, making it one of the hottest destinations for the under-35 crowd. Many are heading to Argentina where the generous exchange rate of 3 to 1 makes it one of the most affordable destinations in the world. Others are visiting the western coast, from Chile to Peru, discovering the ancient cultures, amazing beaches, and laid-back lifestyle that this region is known for.

The Expeditioner is an online travel magazine catering to young travelers, featuring videos and articles written by some of the best travel writers in the world. Founded in Brooklyn, New York in 2007, TheExpeditioner.com has quickly grown into one of the internet’s hottest travel publications, viewed by over 100,000 unique visitors last year.
The lesser known varietals of Argentine wines, like Tempranillo are damn good – Santa Julia Reserva was the favorite.

Most of the Malbecs that can be found in Argentine restaurants, can also be found in the US, albeit at much higher prices.

Starting in the small, underground trance scene of Buenos Aires, Heatbeat has risen to become one of the hottest names in trance music, worldwide. The creative duo is made up of 21 year-old Servente and 23 year-old Matias Faint, both of whom have been playing and producing music since they were kids.

They started in Buenos Aires, where they still hold DJ residencies every Friday at Bahrein and once a month at Fiesta Pura, where they do warm-up and closing sets for international trance DJs. They recently joined Paul VAn Dyk’s label Vandit Digital and they also talk a lot with Armin Van Buren.

Medical tourism to Argentina is growing steadily as the world finds out that doctors and dentists here are well-trained, bright, and equipped with the latest technology. Not to mention, that peace of mind comes at a fraction of the price.

You wouldn’t normally even dream of combining your vacation to Buenos Aires or Patagonia with your need for a root canal, but this practice is becoming more and more common. Drs. Gustavo and Marisol Telo, for example, built their practice around tourists, who account for about 50% of their clients. For the traveler, the thousands of dollars saved on the dental work are justifiably spent on the plane ticket and the hotel, leaving them happy with his discounted vacation.

And dental work isn’t the only kind of treatment you can combine with your vacation. Along with new teeth, plastic surgery, lasik, and botox are all common souvenirs of your visit to Argentina.
