One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things. -Henry Miller
Isabelle has been globetrotting since she was born. She has traveled to 25 countries and lived in France, Italy, Uganda, South Africa, Kenya, and now Argentina. She is a true wanderlust at heart, feeling a constant desire to explore the world and all it has to offer. She has recently made Buenos Aires her new home and so far loves almost everything about it. From the parks of Palermo, to the tango of San Telmo, and the all night clubs of Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires is the ideal South American city, and a great base for exploring the continent.
Isabelle mostly grew up in Northern California, and after graduating from San Francisco State University with a BA in International Relations she moved to East Africa to work for the Foundation for Sustainable Development. After an eye opening dose of development work, she decided to try something completely different and all signs pointed to Buenos Aires. She now lives in an apartment in her favorite neighborhood, San Telmo, and works as an English teacher. From sunbathing in the parks, to late night Asados; from mid-morning coffee with friends, to all night dancing at BAs finest clubs,; from art openings to wine tastings, Isabelle is making the most of her new city life.
Having moved around so much Isabelle is a true believer that home is where the heart is, and right now she is madly in love with Argentina.
