transportationThere are flights between Buenos Aires and Córdoba city on Aerolineas Argentinas and LAN; between Córdoba and Santiago de Chile on Lan; between Ciudad del Este on TAM; to and from Rosario on LAN and Sol Líneas Aéreas; and to and from Rio de Janeiro on Gol Líneas Aéreas. There are flights to and from Buenos Aires throughout the day; the flight is one hour and fifteen minutes. Fares on Aerolineas are approximately US$ 180 round trip and up.

Getting to Cordoba by Bus

A round trip bus ticket to Córdoba costs $146 pesos, and is 12 hours. Urquiza works with several bus companies that travel to Córdoba, as do Andesmar and Chevallier. Buses between Córdoba and the Sierras Chicas leave from a smaller bus station than the main terminal. A bus to Villa General Belgrano is 1 1/2 hours and costs $22 pesos round-trip. Buy your round-trip ticket, rather than buying one-way pieces because buses to Córdoba do fill up at the end of a long weekend, and you might get stuck sitting in the aisle, standing or just stuck in Villa General Belgrano period.

Getting Around Cordoba

Córdoba is a big city, so there are obviously taxis. Remises seem to be more common here than in Buenos Aires. There are car rental agencies at the airport, or most hotels and hostels have information about renting a car once you’ve arrived.
