transportation1thumbnail.jpg

LAN Airlines has one flight a day which leaves very early and costs approximately USD 100/150 each way excluding taxes.

Aerolineas Argentinas has daily flights to El Calafate and is an option if you want to combine this with a flight to Ushuaia as they flight directly from El Calafate to Ushuaia. They do have a 2 tier pricing strategy, resident prices are currently the same as LAN but tourist prices can be considerably higher so check with them before booking.

Getting There From Chile

Take the bus from Puerto Natales directly to the glacier. (Check with your hotel or local travel agency for details) This is a long day trip but worth it if you are short of time and want to combine Torres Del Paine and El Calafate in one visit. The journey is approximately 6 hours and they take you directly to the glacier, and then drop you in the centre of El Calafate at the end of the day.
